GT2 running costs compared to 360
Discussion
There was a thread here on this subject a few weeks ago.
What I said was that if you drove both for the same mileage, the 360 would cost something like 2 1/2 times as much to maintain.
If you drove both for the same distance, and drove the 360 as hard as you drive the GT3, the former would probably cost 5 times as much, becaus there are pelnty of things on the 360 that simply wear out or break earlier than they should, such as brakes, clutch, bushes, ball joints, and cambelt tensioner pulley shafts.

Flemke - your anti Ferrari posts amuse me in spades.
I've owned them, and put >50,000 miles on various ones, so - I started out favourably disposed towards the road cars, and my view only came 'round to its present position empirically, and
- even though I don't own one at present, I'd bet that those 50,000 miles put me in the top 2-3% of all Ferrari owners' mileage.
Therefore my view perhaps has at least a bit of credibility.
My attitude towards their motorsports operation has different origins.
One has got to admit that F. at different times have built some magnificent race cars. The fact that they've always made their own engines, and that their engines have frequently been amongst the best on the grid, is in itself worthy of great respect.
What is not worthy of any respect is that the race team have conducted themselves shamelessly and ignominiously for decades. They have often been led by lying, duplicitous, unsporting scumbags, and I see no indication that that will change: it seems to be in their blood.

I remember the first time i met you was at our first track day with the m5 at bedford, and you were driving a 360
So i believe Flemke speaks from experience!

How do servicing costs/tyres/warranty compare between the two on a yearly basis??
Gt2 Service costs are broadly speaking, the same as a TT - ie: very reasonable. Tyres are expensive - I did a set of rears in 3k miles and they're a unique size, so around £300 each. Warranty is the standard £725 for a year plus the cost of the 111 point check if the warranty has lapsed. Compared to a 360 (which BTW looks like it's going backwards up against a GT2!) it's a fair chunk cheaper. I've not owned one myself, but service costs usually run into 4 figures, and they're more fragile, so need a fair bit more maintenance, although are less brutal on tyres. All IMHO of course
GT2 all the way - menu servicing is about 50% cheaper and even Porsche don't sting you as much as Ferrari do. Having had a 550 and a 355 serviced at a Ferrari dealer and both a TT and a GT2 at an OPC I would say the latter is about 50% cheaper overall when it comes to repairs in general.
