Sometimes you get less, as the market for cars with body kits/mods is smaller.

Couple of the dealers on here said otherwise regarding the aero kit. Certainly wasn't my experience when buying it.

All mods are either Porsche parts or Techart (Porsche approved).

Thanks anyway.

27- 29 i reckon, but then i know its a nice one.

rather ironically, asking on here amongst fellow owners seems to only illicit doom-ridden responses. reckon your best bet is to do a like for like comparrison in the classifieds.

whats it to be jamie?

Body kitted cars are more desirable, and worth a small premium over a standard car. All the other aftermarket stuff is fairly irrelevant - stereo, suspension etc. Interior may put off a few punters, but I would say around £27k ish........

I was going to say that...but I thought it would be a bit mean. Its funny how extras don't really add much value but dodgy spec can reduce it if you need a quick sale....

or less for Necrophiliac leather....Actually, the abuse I got on this website for having an ocean with savannah car was eye opening-the style police on this board insist that ALL PORSCHE INTERIORS SHALST BE BLACK AND ALL EXTERIORS SHALL BE SILVER OR THOU SHALST BE STRUCK DOWN BY A TRADE IN PRICE FROM HENRY-F as the car shall be unsaleable by any method other than being SODOMISED BY HIM.

Sure enough x15 jeb proves that not all city boys are w@nkers.

Interior colour was reflected in the price I paid for it, I therefore expect it to reflect in the resale price.

The Silver bodywork continues into the inside of the car, which actually lighten it.

With the warranty AND the very marketable extras (the techie exhaust system especially ) you should definitely be looking at top of the pile for '98 996's .. Surely 27k plus?

Just a really wild guess but I reckon a LHD E34 M5 estate (either techno violet or avus blue) and a track toy like a caterfield or summat 'cos he's got loads of cash.

I'll stake my customary half a pack of blue extra (with fluff) and 2 statsumas.

a realistic outlook, someone will buy at the right price but a lot won't whatever the price so just a smaller market to appeal to

GT3 alloys and aerokit will certainly add value though

aftermarket exhaust would not put me off as they are usually sound nice, are not integral to the engine/suspension/chassis, look not much different from OEM and are easy to switch

aftermarket engine or suspension mods do put me off though, esp when techart which reminds me of their hideous drug-dealing wheels - all IMVHO
