just back from a blast through Europe to "try out" the new zorst

we followed the Eurohoon 2005 route to Hallstadt and then blasted down to Merano taking in the Timmelsjoch - we then went across the Jaufenpass and the Grossglockner (awesome but even in Aug the weather was poor on the tops) and then back with a decent blast on the A9 between Munich and Nurnberg

obviously not in the same league as AdamT's video of the RUF posted last week but I was very pleased to hit 180 mph on the gps at just under 7000 revs with a little still to go to hit the rev limiter - it took a fair distance to get to that level so I can see why the Vmax recorded numbers at Brunters have been in the mid 160's (pre-the TUBE)

Manu says the new zorst adds around 8 bhp - it may well do but mre than power it seems to spool up quicker - does breathing easier make sense - well whatever it feels like that - who knows maybe a few more at the next Vmax but I doubt I'll see 180 mph on the gps let alone the timing system

I got mine to 189mph down a hill. That was without a Tubi but since mine is only for noise it wouldn't of made any difference even if it had been fitted.
