todays track day...!!

Just finished a private track day today with friends... the cars present were
4 carrera s 997
1 ford gt40
3 lotus exiges
1 ferrari 575
1 bmw m5
1 skyline r33
1 porsche bowster s
2 maserati spyders
2 gt2 porsches
1 evo 6 lancer.

Great day out had by all apart from a slight tip in the gt40 and a gt2... we did lap times and my gt2 was the fastest from the other gt2 from the ford gt40. Good instruction also from Touring car sensation Eoin Murray....!!
That gt40 is fast on the straights...my gt2 was great around track today.. the steel brakes with padgids are far better the the last time on ceramics.. the steels give a great pedal feel..
Had good races with a few 997 c2s.. no contest really the gt2 is in a different league power wise and handeling.. i was able to drive past them everywere..the gt2 is some car on the track...!!

in ireland .... some nice cars with mad owner.. great to see a ford gt sideways and driven hard instead of just sitting in a garage being polished...the m5 had a 20k hartage conversion with a remap..exhaust..suspension and 22inch wheels...the tyre didnt last long.. had a passenger ride in it.. some car to go sideways...!!
