Any ideas on how to remove the glass from a 993 door mirror? Mine wobbles/vibrates a bit so I was thinking of taking a look behind to see if any of the mountings need tightening up.

There's a small hole underneath the mirror. In order to remove and replace the mirror, you need to insert a long thin screwdriver and push the slotted disc round inside. Be careful not to scratch the paint. Hold on to the mirror when doing this until you know if you are tightening or loosening it. This should sort your problem out. I suggest doing it sooner rather than later as it sounds like it could drop out at any moment!
Let me know how you get on.

You could cost you some money if you have a swear box.Make sure there are no small children around.

Thanks for that, it took me about a minute to move the slotted wheel around about a third of a turn and now it's nice and solid
