Hi Guys,

Have come over from the TVR forum to ask a question for my friend. He needs to replace the Bridgestones on his 03 Boxter S and the dealer said to stay away from Bridgestones, this might be because they don't sell them! What do you recommend? He doesn't use it for the track, in fact he doesn't drive particularly fast!

Regards, Robin.

Michelin Pilot Sport - the Porsche Fitment ones.

Great in wet and dry. Very hard wearing...even with the odd track day...without - 20,000 miles a possibility (probably not on the rears, though, )

Michelin Pilot Sport 2's.

I can't wait to get rid of the Continentals that are currently on the car.

If he can still find a set of SO2's (Not the SO2A's) he should fit them. There's no competition. Sadly they don't seem to make them in Boxster sizes any more.

I have the Michelin Sports and have just replaced them. Totally Concur about the mileage and other comments. If my wife keeps the car I will definitely buy another set.

The SO2A's are great tyres and are a later tread pattern that the old SO2

I hated them although that's probably because I couldn't get the actual tyre I wanted. They seemed to lack the straight line stability of the SO2. I've never driven a car that felt as planted as my old Boxster did on SO2's lick
