Usually not one for these 'spotted' emails but here we go..

Around 3pm today saw three Porsches going past the back of John Lewis in London (obviously all together). First was a red 964, second a black 993 Turbo and the last a silver 993.

Loooking closer the black 993 was badged as a Ramus 500. Never heard of this before. Is this a genuine 500bhp car? Amazing looking/sounding car and looked stunning in black.

Anyone here?

Amazing that the cost of the conversion is £20k and they are still using K16 to reach the 500 horse.......

At first glance that looked bloody expensive until I realised it was for taking a 993C2 or C4 upto 500bhp using K16s. Agreed though why not use less stressed K24s if installing turbos from scratch.

Seems like a decent conversion for the money. They did not mention a secondary oil cooler which is a must. The K16s "Race" I assume they mean hybrid turbos, which will give somewhat better spool up than K24 while keeping the top end almost the same as stock K24s. I wonder if they are outsourcing to TTP.
