with all this rain, there now seams to be a crack coming from my rear springs ?

had the front arms done and all went quite no the back is making a noise.

anyone had this? I blame the hitler council and all there speed bumps, I go over about 40 a day.

I think I know exactly what this is - the ball joints on the lower suspension arms (track control arms) dry out and need replacing - don't bother trying to get them "regreased" as this is a waste of time and money. I have just had this problem rectified and it has reduced the creaking. You may also want them to check out to see if there is any play in the drop links as this also causes creaking (mine being replaced next week). Not too expensive - £200 - £300. Getting mine done at Paragon. Hope this helps

Had the front done about 3 months ago by Camtune, now having the rears replaced (along with other proactive maintenance work). With only the front changed I noticed a marked difference in handling - less nervousness at high speed, and the really loud creaking I was experiencing disappeared. Have high-hopes for the handling once the rear are brought up to scratch - there was a slight squeak there before so I expect this to be cured.

Pick the car up this week sometime. I can't wait to get her back...
