Just had to post these links to some 911 offs in a familiar (to regular PH'ers)colour 964, just to show some poor sod who came off far far worse.......

Domster, that's not you in the photo is it ?![]()
LOL, but Ron Davies had better watch out if he spends his time hiding in hedgerows. The last thing he'd want is the Red Baron crashing in on the action (although the idea of something German coming up hard from behind probably has some kind of appeal...).
Red 911 RSs don't have handling problems - I just have a problem handling them in the wet
Although rock hard suspension and an engine out of the back don't help. I have since found out that The Red Baron may not have been handling as consistently as recommended by Porsche, so this may have made it trickier on the limit. Won't go into details, but let's say I'm not overly impressed with an official Porsche centre that did some work on the car for a previous owner. This has been discovered and rectified by my tech, so it should soon be one of the peachiest RSs ever. Almost a full rebuild.
Anyway, re The Red Baron, I believe it was DeR that came up with it. His car is called Wolfgang BTW
