So we've all had a bit of fun with a biker every now and then... Ok not as much as when i had a Tuscan but still get odd one....

So I'm going for a nice slow drive for once in a relaxed mood, pull out of a side turning after looking only for 2 seconds when a guy on an old bike overtakes me and shakes his fist shows me the brid repeatedly ect for the rest of the road.... I'm a calm guy so i just sit there watching this guy gesture at me until I use the horn and get him to pull over I have to have my say.....

It goes like this....

"Look mate I'm really sorry I pulled out on you, I didn't see you but theres no need for the gestures...."

His reply, you f**king c**t you could have killed me pulling out in you flash "c88t mobile"

"Well I'm sorry, which is why I pulled you over but to be honest what kind of idiot rides around like that"

"who are you to judge me, your just a flash prick, I drive all over the country like this"

"Ok, but mate think! your on a war time bike that's painted in camo, you have a blacked out light, you are wearing full camoflage with a brown face mask and brown helmet down a wooded road, your kind of well hidden... you're mental I sugest you buy a yellow stripe or something"

"!!! Well they didn't wear a yellow stripe in war time"

"that's because they didn;t want to be seen you prick"!!! (I'd kind of lost it at this point)

He just stares at me then going red, then puts out his hand and says sorry..... Obviously thinking he'd been pretty silly.... I might just have saved his life...

Wondered if I'd missed something between "I'm a calm guy" and "I use the horn and get him to pull over I have to have my say.....".

The guy on the bike does sound like a bit of a nob piece though. Many bikers seem to have massive "them and us" complexes. Its hilarious litening to the way they refer to 'car drivers' then drive off in their vectra because its raining today so the fireblade is tucked up in bed!!

Most Bikers are pretty savvy on the road in my experience, but I've seen the darwin with purple/red headlamp filters. Still, they are probably in a better place now.

A guy I used to know had a knackered old Honda Civic that he'd brush painted in "surplus" F1-11 green camo paint. He used to have to drive everywhere with his headlights on and eventually resorted to dayglo pink additions to the paint scheme as basically nobody on the road seemed to be able to see him even in full daylight!

Nowt. Quite a lot to do with camoflaged vehicles being unspottable, though...

{eta:} for that matter, what's the OP got to do with Porsche, as the brand of car being driven wasn't really central to the subject matter?
