Well I live about 5 miles outside Rugeley (thank fxxx!) and can usually be found driving around the area at weekends. Silver MK2 GT3, your just not looking hard enough!
Unfortunately LeeTVR has been my best friend for around 20 years and happens to live around 100yds from me 
His penchant for all things Throaty, Volatile and unReliable (see what I've done there....?
) are surpassed only by my love of all things 911.
There has been much gesturing between us recently but neither of us have actually put our money where our mouths are..... The only occasion where acceleration was tested was on a long straight from a set of lights where we both floored it and wew were locked at 20ft apart and at 50mph I started to gain on him like he had sudednly begun to coast (or broken down)
So, YES - it is tongue-in-cheek ribbing.
But show no mercy.
Just in case that doesnt get you all riled up - he thinks all 911's are VW's and that we may as well be electric/battery cars for all the sound we make (although I think secretly he's jealous of my PSE - and that i can make sound, go fast and still do more than 150 miles between petrol top-ups!)

I lived in Armitage for 3 or 4 months and still go and see my mate there every so often.
There was a red cerb one weekend at the house round the corner from hers but that was the one and only time I saw another TVR in the locality.

I put the lack of interesting cars in the area down to the amount of speed cameras. More round that part of the world than there are down south!

Actually, we were both in my Boxster once and managed to overtake a Pagani Zonda.......
We crept up behind it using another car as cover and then blew past him at a good 70mph! (must have been running it in, or it could have gotten ugly......

If you see a grey C2 out and about, around the midlands, dooooooo say hello. He once told me that its faster than a turbo and a GT2, coz of some trick bits he's had done to it

No I'm in Hammerwich - drink in Shenstone / Lichfield though as most of my friends are from there
Seems a lot of PH in our area all of a sudden !
If you see a very noisey Blue GT3 about give me a wave !
