Just looking around Porsche approved used and they seem to be the EXACT same price they were when I was buying ~a year ago.

What's that all about then?

Just sold mine and they are not the same price as were a year ago. It's ok advertising at an inflated price but you try getting a buyer willing to pay it, especially in a private sale.
And then try selling it again, if you can't afford to lose £10k in a very short time buy something else.
Saying that my TT was awesome, loved it and only sold because I am moving to America where I will be buying another one

Thats because prices went down too quick when the 997 was announced. The same thing happened to 993 prices when the 996 was launched.

Just sold my 993tt so I know what you mean about prices people will actually pay private! The initial advertised price means nothing only a guide IMHO.In my experiance once over £5,000 pounds private cars seem to just hang around for ages only the real bargins or flexable sellor cars shift agree?

Outside the OPC I think 996 TT prices have softened significantly over the last 6 months.

I am even considering one myself (although the Mrs will probably leave me)

I dont think prices have changed that much in the last few months as a lot of people seem to be looking for cheap tt's.This seems to be giving an underlying bid in the mid forties for clean low mileage cars ,especially manuals. When you pay 50k ish for an Audi rs4/m3 these tt's look cheap.imo of course and slightly biased..

Don't think prices have dropped a huge amount in 12 months, I was bid £52k on my 996TT by a Ferrari dealer a few weeks ago. 12 months ago I was bid £54k.
Appreciate its against a 360 Ferrari and so its not a straight bid to buy (where the difference might have been greater) but keeping an eye on prices it seems they are slowing down, esp on the 2002 onwards cars (later spec)
