997 turbo doesn't have an intercooler!

Was looking over a 997 turbo at Paris Expo last night. I was suprised to see that the air coming out of the turbos comes straight up to the inlet - no intercooler. One of the ways of getting significantly more power out of the car will be a change to the rear lid to incorporate one - wait for the upgrade kits!

Nice looking beast, but I was more taken by the GT3RS!

there's an intercooler each side,look up the rear bumper corners you will see it.
