Looks like a bargain.

I noticed that on went at auction in the USA recently for £217K with "normal miles".

This maybe the one that did the Gumball 3000 in 2005 - could explain a big chunk of the mileage.

Is this price all in? Or is there any VAT to pay? Or any other hidden costs one should know about?

Rather surprisingly the same vendor (V12 Power) are selling one of the last CGTs produced (it looks like it is number 11xx out of 1,250 IIRC) for £350,000 with 2,200 miles on the clock, which, prima facie, is way over list price.

Some of the details attached to the car are also wrong (bhp, top speed) - disappointing lack of attention for such a vehicle. They also state it is a 2007 model year car, which is intriguing because the production line ceased in April / May 2006. confused

Given that certain unsold US cars (of which there are circa 20) are being repurchased by Porsche Germany, converted for new markets and fully quality checked by the factory and then sold to those new markets, at original list price (Euro 453,000 - current £ equivalent circa £310,000), £350,000 seems rather optimistic!

Kind regards

Steve

Not to mention the car that was being offered by a UK independent at list price with "delivery miles"...except that it's already had its clutch replaced.wobble

Well if I was the delivery driver, I'd find some way to take the 'long way round'!!!

It was my impression that, in this case, an owner drove it for a tiny bit, in the process he fried the clutch and decided to get out asap, the indy bought it (as they do) and needed to replace the clutch in order to sell it on.

I just hope that the car's true history was revealed to the person who bought it from the UK independent. rolleyes
