Thanks to those of you who helped me through my manual versus tiptronic dilema (via another thread). Here are some pics of the car I went for. It's my first ever Porsche after 11 years (and 4 cars) of TVR ownership. No complaints so far (well I've only had it for 1 week).

Apologies if I make a hash of posting these pictures - it's been rather a long time since I last posted any.

It's a tip. I'll buy a manual next time.

arse warts - very good laugh they are a bit ugly aren't they.

It is metropole, which I have to say I was dead against, but it really works in the flesh with this colour combo.

Are arse warts those slits at back of car? If so I think they look good.

slits? the round parking sensors

you think they look good?!?!?!?

unfortunately really show up on silver / light cars - fine on black/dark cars

I would guess that it has a parking sensor? Hence the 4 "dots" (Warts) in a row?

Not a Porsche man (I wish) but they do look a little out of place on all cars.

Gixxer

must be polar silver then, lots of people seem to think the tinge of blue in polar makes it OK to spec metropole inside - shame as I love polar but hate metropole

so what are first impressions of car? how do you find the tip?
