I believe the topic is closed because it's a forum "sticky" and there is a link to the A Plan insurance site in the thread.

I've no experience personally so I can't comment on their service.

I have found them very good, premium came down this year and that was after a 3k claim.
Recently also supplied me with a very good quote for my BMW 335.

Very established, very good service. It's great to talk to a human being with a brain, compared with the usual insurance industry idiots we all too often come accross.

They insure my fleet and I thoroughly recommend them.

thumbup From me very helpful indeed. Offered me a quote and stuck to it even though the policy was for over 28's only (I am 27) Then insured a 997 C2S loan car this week for 24 hours even though the 75k value was far in excess of my policy (by 30k)and waived all the normal fee's as the cost for the cover in their opinion was high (£40 which I thought was alright TBH)

So damn good as far as I am concerned.

Another thumbs up from me too. They have been superb with everything I have put their way - as others have said they appear to have personnel who have a brain - rare in the insurance trade I've found!

They also saved me £170 on my policy this year, like for like.

Highly recommended.

Been with them 10 years - strangely enough first contact with them was to get a quote on a porsche as I'd been recommended by the vendor. Cant fault them in any way shape or form, and every year if I find a cheaper quote, they beat it. They've also been extremely efficient and helpful at sorting out a couple of accidents.

There's an A-Plan Insurance shop in High Wycombe, so they don't seem to be a dodgy backstreet operation. They always seem to quote low for people on here as well, so come with recommendations from the board.

I changed to them for my 996 this year - significant improvement in quote from Norwich Union. Just watch out for the amount of excess on the policy.

I was insured with them under my mums name when I was 18, I remember at the time, everyone was quoting £1000 + then they quoted £450ish on a Golf Convertable, I went with them, had an accident so used their claims and they were fine.....

they deal with all the usual suspects, plus some less than usual suspects. They have (or at least had) specific deals with insurers when going for more exotics though cant remember who they quoted when I inquired about the Porsche.

Thanks for all your positive responses guys...spoke to them about a quote for my soon to be purchase and alas they were not able to beat my elephant quote. Nice people though!

They gave me a good quote on my soon-to-be-mine 993 and were very nice on the phone, but weren't able to offer track day cover.

No complaints whatsoever, nice people, very competitive prices and they now insure all of our cars.
