I don't have my manual handy, could someone confirm that if I want to get a 1L bottle of Mobil 1 to keep around as a top-up that 0W40W is what I need?

Thanks,
Paul

Interesting question I wonder do Porsche always put the same viscosity of oil in throughout the year? And if so, anyone hazard a guess what it is?

It's only so I've got a little at home, when I collected the car I was told it might use a little oil the first few thousand miles and whilst the dealer said if it needs topping up to pop in and they'd do it free it's not worth the round trip.

I think I bought 1 litre of Mobil 1 15W 40 a couple of weeks ago.

That was based on the information in the owners manual.
