Big Man in a modified Porsche Cayenne on the M25.....LX54..

.. I hope last night's prize bell end isn't a typical Cayenne driver, but hope someone on here can help! On the M25 - girlfriend driving, this pee-narse in a black modified Cayenne LX54 something, sat with headlights on full and spots on, about an inch from our boot, my g/f couldn't go anywhere due to traffic. Then almost pushed us off the road trying to get past. Got the whole thing on video and photos of how close he was. Anyone know the car? I'm thinking of going to the police as it was utterly disgusting the way they were driving. What a big man he was.

im confused as to what you think the outcome of this will be.

is it:

a) we all stand up and say 'yes it was him' >pointsatpikey<

b) we all dribble on about how caymans are shit anyway, and not proper porsches, and then someone will use that amusing 'gayman' play on words

c)well all start venting about something quite bad that nearly happened to us once, but then didnt. but it nearly did.

d) youll feel better for venting

e) none of the above.

f) there is no F.

g) see F.

h) we start talking about residuals and how if this is porsches idea of protecting a marques image wel wed better do something, we should do something, you know really do something.

you dont seriously think a pher is going to stand up and say 'yes yes, over here. it was me. i drive like a cock and like to scare girls at traffic lights whose boyfriends think the best solution would be to video tape the event rather than actually do something about it, from this i garner bothe self esteem and sexual gratification' do you? seems somewhat unlikely.

I was asking if anyone knew the car. As for doing something about it, I was the passenger in a Peugeot 206 on a motorway. What would you suggest I should have done?

thought you said you were stuck in traffic and could 'go nowhere'? seems to me that if he was upsetting you enough to actually break out a camcorder (and latterly compose this on-air confessional oppurtunity for owners of cars nicer than yours to repent their sins and crimes against humanity) that you could have got out and politely asked the chap to give you a bit more as he was making you a tad uncomfortable. hell, you could have even video'd that too. and then shown youre friends. or perhaps even posted it on here under the thread title 'does anyone on here have this car, driving style and face'.

hmm.

Its doubtful anyone on here would be able to ID the object of your animosity on here, since posts about the Cayenne or by Cayenne owners are rare in the extreme on this forum. Likewise the partial reg just narrows it down to the year it was registered and the area code its registered to.

So really the only thing your post could concievably achieve would be to shame the driver himself *if he read the post* into coming forward to confront you over t'internet - which whilst being amusing for the rest of us, i doubt would help you much.

Id suggest just going straight to the police if you believe the Cayenne drivers antics justify such action. You are likely to get more help (relatively speaking) there than you are here. Surely if you have the whole thing on video, then you have the entire reg plate ?, the police can at least ID the guy and question him from that.

Where did I say we were stuck in traffic? I said we couldn't go anywhere, meaning that we were in the outside lane sat at 70 due to traffic preventing us from progressing any faster.

Took a video and pic on my phone - ever heard of doing that?

Thought i'd post and ask the question as most people on here are a friendly bunch, without their heads stuck up their know-it-all arses like you seem to be.

Thank you, finally someone with something pleasant to say. The fact that we were nearly pushed off the road by this guy was a pretty terrifying experience for a 23 year old girl. I also posted the first 4 digits of the plate in my first post. There can't be that many black modified cayennes around - it looked lowered (of all things) black wheels etc, looked like it had had a fair few quid spent on it but I'm not too keyed up on Porsches.
