If anyone is looking to purchase a Porsche 944 I've decided to sell mine. I'm really not sure what it's worth exactly, but I'm happy to listen to offers/ advice on where and how to sell her.

I'm going to advertise it in a few weeks time once I've transferred the private plate, but I hate the hassle of selling cars what with time wasters and those trying to pay with counter fit money... So if any real Piston Head enthusiasts are interested prior please please let me know.

I brought it from a friend of the family early this year. He had owned it for some 9-years and used it every day, however after his 70th birthday decided to gracefully pass me the reigns. Unfortunately I've just not had time to use it and its currently just sat in storage!

SPEC.
1986 (face-life model) 944 Lux Auto
107k miles.
Black with Black half leather interior
Electric Windows, Sunroof & Seats
Full Porsche Tool Kit/ Spare Wheel.

In preparation to sell her I've just had fitted new leads and plugs, tyres and break pipes as I was advised they would need attention very soon if not changed. I also asked them to MOT her so she will come with a full 12-months MOT. It was serviced by Porsche only 3000-miles ago and also had the cam-belt changed. The car is in cracking condition and as far as I know everything works exactly as it should, however it has been in storage for some time and would clearly benefit from some tender loving care, a good T-cut and even a good drive!

Erm, this sort of thing is normally put in the classifieds (which is free, if you are a private individual).

Best of luck in selling it. 944's can make wonderful driving machines.

Not wishing to upset you....but....

with a 20 year old 944 with an Auto box which were never overly popular or desirable you'll probably be looking around £2000 - £2500.

Hey, go easy on him. Sure it won't make much money (probably nearer £1500) but he still wants to sell it.
