996 C2- how do you match underfloor paint on used frontend ?
Discussion
Hi,
I recently bought front accident damaged 996 c2 1998 . Due to heavy impact, i decided to
buy a secondhand frontend of a 996 boxster. It welded on nicely, but the underneath the car
its two different shades of paint ( the secondhand frontend is lighter, and the initial
shade of the car is darker (i mean the existing underfloor).
Is there anyway i can match the frontend underfloor to the existing colour ?
please help, (i'm stuck)
replies appreciated
cheers guys

When we're talking of welding on a second hand 'front end'.... how much 'front end' are we actually talking?!!porschehead said:

What's so wrong with that? The 996 is made from leftover Boxster bits after all.
Runs and hides.
Runs and hides.

burn him!
Better not... He has one of those porsches powered by Air... you have to feel sorry for them...
thing is he's not wrong, Boxster was released before 996
