Brilliant. That bus must have the drag co-efficent of a house brick.
Still the AM and the GT3 dont look like they are really going that quick.

Nice.

Not having been on a track or in a GT3 I cant comment but he didnt seem to be going as fast as he could.

Even with the damp patches surely he would have passed the Aston easily?

The VW could certainly shift though

He was joking about the outbraking. The GT3 completely backed off once it came up on the Aston.

Having done many laps and races at Spa not sure the GT3 got out of 3rd gear in that (staged) clip....normal to make 155 at least on kemmel ( have done 178 in a GT2) and the "bus" would have needed about 700 bhp to stay ahead....then i suppose the granny in the GT3 could have used 4th gear.

Ah long been a dream of mine to have such a wagon, since a short flirt 10+ yrs ago with an early bay window van with Audi rims, Recaro seats a 9 inch drop & Pork 914 power on snorty webbers.

The later sqare T2 van often seen at the 'ring with 993 n/a power (3.6 I think rather then RS 3.8 tho??) is ace, but this is far far closer my dream, tho from the site it looks to be T2 under pinnings mated to splittie body, tho I'd prefer a panel van over a bus.

Ah well its good to dream.

Hey mate - mine too - been tracking prices of splittys but can't make up my mind whether to buy a wreck and start from scratch or buy a (true) decent one and go from there - answers on a postcard or over several beers in my neck of the wood at Christmas beer

BTW Crispin Manners at Oaktree threw a 911 engine into a bus yonks ago - I can't remember whether it was a T2 though...
