Getaway In Stockholm

If you want to see a slightly tuned 911 evading the police through the streets of Stockholm search for and download the above on mpeg. Rather entertaining . I do not of course condone this sort of behaviour, but it is rather good.

Similarly, Getaway in Stockholm 2, only with an escort cosworth and a supra turbo - that hits 190mph at one point.

Anyone know what speed the 911 hits in the original one? Obviously I only want to know so I can be appropriately horrified and disapproving!

Listening to the gear changes he seems to be at the upper end of the rev range in fourth. My Boxster should do about 120 in fourth I think... Perhaps 140 ish?

If you watch closely try to clock the speed of the rotating searchlight / lighthouse thing. It looks pretty much like its been speeded up. But then again the sound of the engines, road noise etc seems utterly convincing

Yes I noticed that too but assumed it was some bizarre Swedish lighthouse . If you look at the speed of the traffic coming in the opposite direction that seems about right but I don't think there's any high speeds at those points.

Fun anyway .
