Hi all,
getting the rear pads replaced on my 996 C2 and have seen 28 and 30mm 'dampening discs' advertised on Euro Car Parts, can anyone tell me which I need and in what quantity?

Many thanks,

Chris

PS - spotted my 'squeel' typo the same moment I pressed Submit to please go easy on me typo police!

correction..
If they are the same as C4 then you'll need 30mm for the front. Maybe 28mm is for rears?

Yes, but what about all that extra hardware you're lugging around

Thanks Neil, but anyone with a C2 done this job?

you need 2 of each for each corner, you have four pot calipers and in each pot goes a shim to reduce squeeking, if i rember rightly the larger ones go in the bottem pots and the smaller ones go in the top. There is no diffrence between front and rear.
Its probally worth getting new sensors as well as if the old ones have not already worn out you will more than likly break them trying to remove them from the old pads, assuming you are changing the pads.

Great, thanks for that Dan.
