What are people's opinions on these?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dl

I want some pictures in my house, thing is art isn't really my thing so i'd feel like a bit of a fraud having prints of famous works of art when I haven't a clue about them! These on the other hand...but are they tacky? I was thinking of just framing them in a simple modern frame.

I had similar pictures on my wall as a kid. Got them from Athena

I kind of know where you're coming from but I feel they're best put in your study rather than say in the lounge. Whilst I can appreciate the look of a classic 911, and why you might want to have it on the wall, most people will not.

I would have suggested Garage, didn't think of the Study bit as I don't have one!

I have a few Porsche Models Dotted around, is that tacky?

Ditto should give it a wall in a study or garage.

if you either a) have a female companion, or b) ever want one in the future, I would say inadvisable

It's the kind of thing you see on the walls of cheap car sales showrooms.

I'd love a set of those if i had a garage wall to do them justice but i don't think i'd have them in my house and i don't have a big enough garage!

Though one of those Porsche flags on the wall might be quite cool...

There are some posters from the Targa Florio in here to download. Arty stuff featuring the 550, 904, 908 and RSR. Even my girlfriend thinks they look OK and hasn't said no to the idea of me putting them up...

What about trying:

www.colincarter.co.uk/

I've got a couple - some of the more abstract ones are a little more subtle than just 'cars'....

Even managed to convince the Missus that this looks awesome in the lounge (although it is HUGE).... For the moment at least...

(still trying to work out what she wants in return - SURELY there's a huge price to pay somewhere, she's a chick after all...)

Or another favourite of mine...

The missus commissioned this guy to do a one off GT3RS for me too... but i can't find his site - I'll post when I do..

Theres nothing wrong with scattering a few prints around your house - regardless of the subject matter/artist etc.

The key fact is you want something that you like the look of, and like to look at.

Me, I'm partial to prints of Monet, I know he's an impressionist and thats about it - I don't buy them to tell 'spiffy' people at dinner parties the entire history of his life while sloshing a red wine around in a glass proclaiming 'what a nose it has'...

I like them, they do a good job of covering the horrible choice of colours the previous owners decided to paint the walls that I have been to lazy to paint over..
