Quick question
My mates 911 has been parked up for a couple of weeks, he took it out this arvo 10 minutes after seeing him drive off i get a phone call. hes parked up in a layby with a dead car. he was driving alone and the alternator alarm came up on the dash, then abs alarm came up and then a host of other alarms, is this just the battery dead or does it sound a bit more serious. He did try turning it over but nothing.

Sounds like the alternators gone and he's used up whatever goodness was left in the battery. Jump starting won't help as there's nothing to provide the sparks.
In the absence of any other advice tow it home, charge the battery and get it running. Charging light will probably stay on and the voltmeter will head south.
What is the reading on the voltmeter at the mo?
