I should probably ask this on another thread but this video has reminded me - where are the intercoolers on 996tt's?

What a staggeringly unimpressive video. I suspect its a wind up or he paid an awful lot of money for Emporer Clothes horse power.

The bit where he said that he has 'no lag' is a bit of a give away.

I'm he enjoys his car though.

Protomotive engines are generally considered the D's B's. Todd and his cars/engines have won a few "shoot-outs" in the US.

Another one of these which has slightly less bhp ran the quarter mile in 9.8s at 151, just for reference the veyron does 10.0 at 141mph...

This thing would blitz anything.

That's Mark (Markski) car, yip just come out of protomotive after being in their for a very long time, GT3 Head along with Cams, etc, raisin' his rpm to 8200, the car is currently runing 0.8bar due to weather conditions. I talk to him quite a bit as he is a fellow DJ, I will get a full spec for you!

Think that's fast he has an EVO also that will leave most Turbos/GT2's for dead, he clocked a 10.2 - 1/4mile in the beast, I will try and find the video link!

No Lag? PMSL, the sound of those turbo's spooling down after the revving - reminded me of an Intercity 125!

not at all. Its got a TT set up which is pretty common on vipers in the states. Full weight (i.e not stripped out ) , its running the stock manual 6 speed box.

Only things i can see that arent street legal or makes the car stand out from are a set of slicks to get traction?

right, and without the slicks it's running 10's.

i've raced a lot in the states, and in my experience the tt vipers are anything but common...
