I'm too scared to take my car on the track at the moment but as I live in Chester, it seems like a good idea to have a nosey around. Is it OK to just turn up to spectate/drool and maybe get down the pitlane ?

Yeah, like Vic, I have booked my hotel for both Thursday and Friday, with a view to having the Chinese on the Friday. I won't get to the hotel til very late on the Thursday night.
