2 reasons.

1, they are getting to 1-2 years old, so people who bought new (or 1 year old) are looking at changing up.
2, From the 996, Porsche increased production numbers, so there are more 996's (and will eventually be) 997's on the roads, hence more for sale.

According to Porsche, their average new car customer keeps their car for 18 months to 2 years. So I assume most of them are the guys who got their cars when they first came out trading up.

That'll be a 3.6? I think the 3.8s are still holding up to 50ish.

I did not think there are that many as a lot are traders trying to sell offers over new GT3's and Turbo's (55 classifieds vis 196 996's....)
