Guys,

I have found what looks like a beauty - see details below......

1995 911 (993) N reg, Met Blue, grey hide, A/C, 30K miles, FSH, 18" Turbo alloys all for £29K. BTW - at a dealer...

Does this sound really cheap? If I get the thumbs up I will get it inspected......

Well what do you think?

Thanks
James

Seems fine. Tiptronics are the orphans of the 911 world a lot of the time, so I would expect it to be a bit cheaper.

That is not to knock them - they are decent cars apparently - just that many Porschephiles like their 993s with the sweet 6 speed G50.

Seems OK pricewise. Take a look. Remember you can get LHD 996s for less than 30k these days, so it is not overly cheap...

Agreed!! If it was a 996 Tip, then you've got a bargain. Pal saw one (a 996 Tip) go at auction recently for £28K.

IMHO

I wouldnt call it really cheap. But it sounds like a nice price.
But please make sure that you get a PPI from a good Porsche technician. Make sure that you have the aircon and brake system fully tested (from personal experiece).
Otherwise you may have to pay a extra for repairs.

Get a four wheel alignment done as a matter of course, too.

Thanks all - on your advice I'm off to arrange a test drive and if I like the car I will be arranging a PP inspection. Can you recommend any inspection companies in the South (Berks, London, Kent etc)?

Thanks again

Charles Ivey in Fulham always used to do a good job when I had a 911, didnt break the bank either, ask for Ginaro & tell him I sent you. 0207 731 3612 (I think)

JZMachtech in Kings Langley.
Though I have never used them for PPI's.
