Chaps, please can you remind me of the name of that treatment that makes it all smell of leather again.

I use Zymol Leather Cleaner... not sure of it's the best but says on the tin that it adds back to the leather natural oils that wear takes out.

Here is an Autoexpress review of different cleaners:

Superb stuff : - www.performancemotorcare.com/acatalog/Leather_Cleaners.html?gclid=CI6crOmTzokCFRobZwodoh7Eig

Gives the seats the proper as new matt finish, makes the leather supple again and smells really leathery into the bargain !

Oh, and the cleaner needs to be followed up with the conditioner too.
Which it appears Auto Express didn't do..............................

with Gliptone, how long do you have to leave the leather after applying the cleaner before you apply the conditioner? Until the leather is bone dry?

I'm not sure to be honest - I only brought the conditioner as my leather is hardly dirty - quick wipe over with a damp cloth, give it 10 mins while I have a fag - then slap on the Gliptone. The smell is so "leathery" after too !

I think a mimimum of half an hour is recommended, (but longer won't hurt)

another vote for Gliptone. I bought the cleaner and conditioner as a deal off Ebay.

the conditioner, it puts the oils and things back in.You get creases and lines when the leather dries out ,gliptone feeds it and plumps the leather back up again. Its really a good natural product.Whe you rub it in use your bare hands and take off your watch and any rings as you can scratch the leather,it smells great and very easy to use.
