Ive always thought Eurocarparts were the cheapest for plugs/ wipers/filters
Bosch £4.68 or
Beru [Who?] £3.00

I think that Beru are OEM ones.

I bet they're not 3 squid each.

It doesn't pay to skimp on what is presumably an expensive car. Come resale time it'll look like the owner couldn't afford to maintain the car correctlt/properly or even neglested it. If you look for an alternative brand then NGK are good or maybe some of the bosch platinums.

Well given that the only brands available are Bosch, beru or NGK for Porsches then it doesn't really matter, I really want Bosch or Beru, and I'm sorry the only difference between a cheap or expensive spark plug is the price.

£2.79 is the best so far.

Yep, thats sort of obvious, I have to agree. Back to quality, try Champions and then you'll understand why some plugs cost more As for NGK's, I knew of a bulk ngk dealer in Leicester who sold them for £1 each to the trade. That's how cheap plugs really are and he's making a healthy profit! You should be able to better £33.48 easily enough if you hunt around, otherwise you're being done.

BTW, What oil do you use?

It's funny you should mention Champions, Classic British stuff runs excellently on them, however I wouldn't dream of using them in the Porsche, Beru or Bosch I don't want NGK really.

As for Oil it tends to be Morris's. Although the Halfords Own brand has very good spec, at the moment I'm using some semi synth I got in france at a ridiculous price, the specs far in excess of the 964 requirements.

And yes I have a lubricants engineer in the family as you might guess lol!

I'll agree that some of the halfords stuff is good. Has a good api rating or did the last time I looked.
