Hello wise ones

Further to numerous upgrade posts. Is it possible to fit the PCM console as found in th efacelift 996 to earlier 996s and move the climate control panel down, or is this venture just too much like hard work. The reason for the question is that there is a PCM panel for sale on ebay, although I realise that the sat nav GPS parts would have to be procured seperately.

Am I just mad??

Sorry to be a pain again but is fitting a PCM1 in and taking a CDR22 out on a pre facelift 996 a good idea? Please help.

I would leave the PCM 1 all together - update discs are hard, if not impossible, to get hold off

No post code search, and generally just a poor system IMHO
