Throttle Pedal
Discussion
Hi,
Excellent forums.
I am afraid I am very green when it comes to understanding anything about my car other than how to enjoy it from a driving perspective.
As such this evening when I broke my throttle pedal on my 2000 911 I have no idea what to do.
On inspection I have broken either the ball joint on the pedal or the ball joint on what I assume is the accelerator pressure switch directly behind the pedal on the floor of the car (I know not very technical)
I can get the metal pin to fit in either the accelerator ball joint of the ball joint on the springed switch however not both!
Can anyone help me identify what part I need to look for - what its called, how I fix it and where I can go on a Sunday (its my only car) to get the bits!
Thanks,
