Porsche Cayenne Spotted

Just come back from Atlanta and whilst over there i spotted a Cayenne Turbo. In terms of looks it definitely beats the normal American SUV, but it just didn't quite look right.

Whats others opinions on this car/suv/4x4???

Ohmigawd.... can of worms time.

Not sure we need another Cayenne thread. Try searching the Porsche Forum with 'Cayenne' as the key word and you will find what most people think of the matter.

Two camps to summarise:

1) Like the car, it's a Porsche, going to be practical, who cares if it looks a bit ugly. May buy one.

2) It is Demon Seed, what are Porsche doing? I much prefer air cooled engines, a flat six hanging over the rear axle, what is this water cooled nonsense etc. Definitely won't buy one.

As long as it keeps Porsche solvent so they can keep producing proper cars I couldn't care less. Is it a totally new V8 or based on the 928 unit?
Will it fit my 944...

Good point. Give them some cash to help trickle the new parts on the Carrera GT down to 911 spec by the time im ready to afford one!
