Yes. My counsel is do your research and know what you are looking at. Get an independant to check the car over, but don't rely on their report only - do your research on this forum on the particular model you are looking at. Know the common faults - it's likely the car you have has them, negotiate price accordingly. Don't expect them to work hard to sell you the car, its the bottom line that interests them.

I bought my 3.2 there and found them to be OK. Harry, the bloke who owns the place, can be a little grumpy but I wouldn't let that put you off if you've seen the car you want. I agree with the above comments about getting an inspection. Mine had a few things which needed attention, but it was priced accordingly, so fair play.
I bought my 928 from them 6 years ago. Did my research, checked every accessory and had them fix the stuff that was bust so I had a fair start. They moaned about fixing the power seat switch but I wasn't going to buy it unless they did.
I'd go back, but only for the right car, not for the buying experience. Mind you, all the other dealers I went to were as bad except Paragon (got my old 944 Turbo from them) who were pretty good.

I hesitate to recommend anyone nowadays. It's amazing what I have heard over the years about traders, some of whom are mentioned on threads in PH nearly every day. Even ones that are considered extremely respectable now may not have been so in the past.
Harry must have had to deal with more than his fair share of tyrekickers over the years - his location and open access attracts them....when you're tucked away on a farm it's that much more difficult for people to call in off the street and in the main, those that make the effort to find you are half way serious about what they want.
