Anybody still drive one of these old boys. I've had mine for 14 years and still drives well. Starting to get a few electrical problems now though. Anyone familiar with how the pop ups actually light up

No, but I do remember seeing one with light problems on 'wheeler dealers', they just replaced the light switch on the dash, as apparently that's a common problem area

Mark, any photos of your car?

I used to have a metallic blue S2S (310 versus 300bhp, right?) and it was the definitive shark. I preferred it to a subsequent S4 as it felt curiously more urgent for any given throttle opening. Plus, the 4.7 is generally accepted to serve up a more rousing thrash than the clankier 5.0 litre job.

Where abouts are you in the north?

I have an S4. Wonderful cars! I have a shop manual etc., but go to the 928 forum at rennlist.com and get more info than you'll need for a while. Also the 928uk mailing list. Also lots of great tips sites like www.nichols.nu/tips.htm
