GT3 at OPC Hatfield

Does anyone know the MkII GT3 Clubsport that OPC Hatfield have for sale? 20K miles, July 03, no options other than clubsport package, CDR-23 and top-tint windscreen. OPC Guildford called me about it, looks like there's a possible deal at below £50K, does that seem reasonable given the age?

Also - there is a very large service coming at 4yrs or 24k miles so make sure it will be done. The lack of air con would definitely put me off though.

Ah, didn't realise that a/c was optional. Thanks for the advice and warning about the service - I think I'll give this one a miss.

and dont fool yourself you could run the car without AC. the interior feels as hot as recator number two at sizewell when you're pushing on

They came back with a £52K offer, so I'll politely decline. Thanks for all the comments, I think a GT3 is the way to go on my budget, just not this one!

Yours would be perfect, except that it's silver! Just not a fan of silver or black cars - I'm also looking out for a BMW 5 series estate, not silver or black, and that excludes about 95% of them. Aaargh!

I test-drove this car last Saturday, and to be honest I loved it. The salesman didn't mention the lack of AC or the big service that is due. Caveat emptor rules, eh?

don't buy a 996 gt variant without aircon - no sound/thermal insulation in the roof/headlining :its like being under a grill in the summner!

Spoke to OPC again yesterday, they did say the big service would be included.
