Noticed my 987 often does a kind of throttle "blip" all by itself when I slow to a stop at lights and junctions etc.

It idles perfectly smoothly I mean you pull up, the revs drop to normal idle, then there is a brief "blip" before they settle again.

Been meaning to ask for a while but didn't, so any ideas why?

Is that a question or the answer? I guess it could be, but we're talking almost immediately after pulling up not after X amount of time when the fan might come on etc. Guess it could be some sort of anti-stall.
