And you thought Savannah was tasteless.
Discussion
Well who'd have thunk it, an interior that makes Savannah look cool.
I think its a Porsche Turbo Ghia.
Shirley its for the yanks.
It just doesn't fit, not one iota, scintilla or speck.
When where or how has the 911 ever, ever invited required or deserved trim like this ?
The very antithesis of 911 understanding.
Full renunciation and repudiation of all things Porsche

Er, not too likely, what with the RHD.

Guy round here owns that, VERY low mileage 993tt, the reason for the interior is its an Import from a completely diff. culture ;-) The best bit is he failed to sell on ebay for substantially less than its currently for sale in the indie for!

That's been for sale since the beginning of time - import from Japan or something. Different gearbox specs, that interior - a gem!

You wanna see Yank trim CGT style ?
How's about this cute-tay...
Porsche Carrera GT in orange leather, by Mattes Interieurtechnik.
That one looks quite German.
Let's see...British 993, German CGT...
Keep trying - there must be an ugly American Porsche somewhere (although, being a nation of immigrants, the owner is probably first generation American who's just come from somewhere else, and hasn't developed good taste yet.)
Fair point about the gearstick, although, amazingly, BMW have just said that they will offer new M5s (IIRC) with proper gearstick and clutch because of demand from the American market.
