Does anybody have any suggestions where to source an adhesive strip to be fitted to the op of the winshield instead of a sunvisor ? Apart from just about every cup car, I saw some members, like Tim Court, have it on their road going GT3.

Your local sign writing place.

Just rock up outside and ask them nicely to cut you a strip to fit.

Cavanagh has what I'm after (not the car, but the strip with "Porsche" on it). Where did you get it ?

Yep... ebay for sunstrips - just source the cheapest as they're all the same. For the logo most of the sellers doing other Porsche font stickers will do the lettering for a sunstrip - just email them direct.

They are good for keeping the sun out of the gap between the sunvisors, but your local MOT man may fail you as by law the sunstrip must not intrude more than 10mm into the zone swept by the wipers. Burocrats! Pah!

Hi

That last bit is true....I saw a local lad with a Supra at a car show and he had what must have been a 10 INCH DEEP SUNSTRIP.....and 4 INCH BLADED wipers....

When I asked him why...he said wipers must NOT hit sunstrip to be legal but they can be ANY length...even 4 inches lolllll...

Then I asked him if he could see anything through the sunstrip....he just laughed and said no....but it looks good.....

All the best Brett
