997s with blacked out wheels

Being a bit of a trainspotter here.. but spotted a glimpse of what I think was R.Hammonds 997 on TG the other night with blacked out wheels (handy, that SKY +). I thought they gave the car a really strong visual impact, with what looked like dark grey bodywork.

Just wondered if anyone had any snaps of other 997s with such wheels that they could post. There are some examples on the porsche website, but not in the type of combos
I am too keen on. Been toying with the idea of a new 911 for a bit now. Many thanks

Yes i snapped a 997 S (in red) with black wheels/chrome rims at the
PCGB oxford event last year (it was near the entrance on the grass)....was thinking of this colour combination, but not sure how well it would wear with average annual mileage

thanks for those folks. there was also a pretty groovy looking 997 cab on pistonheads
classified a couple of weeks or so a go in a dark grey green with black wheels. cheers

Had pondered the idea of having my wheels done, powdered coated, black leaving just the rim silver (similar to those in the pic above) - they're Turbo wheels on a silver 996 C2. Never seen black turbo's on a silver 996. Seen quite a few with colour coded wheels though.
Anyone come across this combination, or like to offer a view on what they think it might look like ?

My Red 997S also has black wheels/original colour rims..Bloody cool. Cant post a pickie cos I dont know how to do it. Plus I am off to Daytona for bike week tmrw..yeeeeeah!!

Just had my road rims powder coated in anthracite (dark metallic grey) which sit on my polar silver GT3. i went for the grey rather than black, which i thought would be too harsh.
