Early Boxter warranty

I think I've decided on an early(ish) Boxter 2.5 or maybe a 2.7 at a streach (budget of up to £13k, or maybe a tiny bit more).

I'd like some kind of a warranty to cover any major mechanical calamaties, where is there who won't charge the earth for cover? Warranty Direct want about £1k a year and for that price I'd just risk it, is there anywhere cheaper?

He's in Bolton I think .. Surely not all that far away from you?? ..
My nearest OPC is 5 miles away.
My nearest semi-decent OPC is 160 miles away .. and it's worth it.

You're not too far from me then, I live near Thame, but that's a good bit over what I have to spend unfortunately

I have included the £850 that OPC charge for the warranty in the price so their is some flexibility
