Correct.

However your local Porsche dealer will supply one.

The same cover suits cars (with no fixed whale tail) from 1974 - 1998, excluding the first 996s.

Another one is available same cost for cars with fixed tails.

It's around £250, and comes with a very smart tequipment bag to store it in.

Some appear on e-bay but seem to go for nearly £200 second hand.

I'd rather have the new one with mo grubby marks for the extra.

I would be interested to know how good this is if you order it - The Porsche one was EXACTLY correct shape, and such good material that no marks at all appeared on paint.

I've actually got a custom made cover which came with my car, also with the Porsche Shield but not sure who the manufacturer is!

Cover Systems advertise in a Porsche Mag IIRC and at that price its got to be worth a call and punt.
