..... for this car:

www.camtune.com/CarSales.aspx?StockID=479

Being a dedicated 993 man is this something I should worry about? yikes

Seems to have all the right options bar sat nav, horse brasses, pipe holder etc.

Still waiting for the insurance settlement for my late lamented 993 though.

Oh by the way - Have a nice weekend PH'ers

Chris

Here's the scenario...you need to get up early but you had a few too many last night to help wash down the bhuna.
It's pissing down with rain and a very grey day but you got to get to the airport.

You open the garage door and see that thing grinning at you.

If the clouds/hangover disappear it's the one for you. If not move on sir.

I have also had a look at that C4s as i think 911's look brilliant in speed yellow (too many bloody silver ones going around)BUT with such a high mileage, i would offer £35-£36k for that car, Nottingham OPC have a silver C4s with 30odd thousand miles at £41999, some of the Independents really need to have a look at there prices, - Although to be fair I have noticed thet 911Virgin seem to have lowered there prices and are on par with private saletype pricing which is a good/sensible move as 996 prices seem to be taking a dip IMO.

It does look very nice I reckon, I like that.

Being a 993 chap however guides you by tradition to the GT3 and the Turbo only, and some of those are knocking within reach of that price...

Otherwise I suggest a 911 carrera or 930 to cure you

It may just be the angle of the pics, but the C4S has the wider Turbo Body (Big Butt).

That car would look even better with a nice set of aftermarket rims, maybe Black Centre's with a Polished Lip. yes

edit - just spotted Cableguy has a Black 996 GT2....now your talking....top car and i bow down to your choice in porsche bow

understood....it's just when you look at a wide 993 against a wide 996, the front and rear just stand out a mile on the 993 compared to the 996. personnel preference I suppose.......don’t get me wrong though...I would have one if i could afford one. But would probably go for the older 993 with a higher spec and fuller figure.
Agreed on the rims.
Cheers
Chris W.

I personally love speed yellow, its a sports car for crying out loud so why not have a bright "sports car colour". Theres far to many drab coloured porches around these days and i wish i had been more patient and bought my porka in speed yellow...
