I've a six month old 987 that I've only ever run on V-Power, and only ever from the same local garage (that last bit is co-incidence I'm not that anal).

They charge 92.9p for V-Power, and after the recent hullabaloo over fuel I noticed that Sainsbury's fuel is supplied by BP.

My local Sainsbury's sells Super Unleaded for 87.9p, so on Friday I filled up there from a fairly low tank, and I'm going to try a few tankfuls and see how it goes.

I'm not sure that Supermarket fuel is the weak piss it's made out to be, but likewise I'm convinced it's cheaper for a reaso, the Sainsbury's/BP tie-in gives me a little re-assurance that they are selling "good stuff".

I have had several cars that have been noticeable in their differences - but the least noticeable is my 997 - it's as happy on 95 from tesco as BP/Shell premium, both in performance and economy.

Both my Westfield v8 and Cerbera actually sounded different (as well as slower) on cheaper stuff - not so with the 997S

Can't say I've ever seen it - just the bog standard premium - where / how would we find it?

It does just now, their last one, Coryton, is in the process of being sold/transitioned but this process won't be concluded until mid-year.
