Does this look about right, cost wise.
Arctic Silver with a full black leather interior. Litronic headlamps and polished steel roll bar. Unmarked condition and never been on a track. £45K 10K miles.

2003 Mk2 GT3 with 10k miles for £45k?
An OPC would have bid less, so it's a fair price for a private sale if everything checks out.
As predicted, Mk2s coming off fast and now in Mk1 territory.
One year ago, that same car would have been £52k private.

I think it sounds about right, good even. I would obviously want to look at the paper work and get it inspected though.

I'd agree with PE's sentiments...though having said that I can still see MkII value's falling for a time yet (possibly until 997 GT3 & RS supply is up to speed?)?? scratchchin However, if you're intending to keep it for a while then go for it...providied it checks out! yes

It it's all that it seems, that's a lot of car for £45k. A 111 point check will prove it.

Similar aged CSL's with a much higher mileage are bringing £35k .... and a GT3 must be worth £10k more.

And £900 wil buy you a year's warranty to equal an OPC sale.

Sounds like a good deal to me - assuming the car is straight.

MkII values are firming up now summer is in sight.

Great value and likely to hold it.

Appears to be very good value - and half the price of a new 997 GT3.

I'm not saying that the Mk1 is better than the Mk2. I'm just telling it as the classifieds say! But I do think the mk1 and mk2 will reach parity soon price wise - probably after the 2007 trackday season. Both cars are great, but they are markedly different. The market shows a glut of Mk2s at the moment as their owners either a) upgrade to the 7GT3 or b) sell up to take advantage of the Spring season. Mk1 owners will probably hold on given the rarity and "why upgrade?" question. Supply and demand...
