Having previously had a yellow 996 and a silver 996TT I have come to the conclusion my next Porsche must not be silver, or black for that matter. Does anyone have any links to some more "colourful" Mk2 GT3s as prices seem to be very favourable on these at the moment?

David.

There's a speed yellow GT3 at Maranello in Sevenoaks. Happy to take it for a test drive for you if you like, as it's at the end of the street and I pass it twice a day!

Speed yellow would be ideal. I have also seen the GT3 in red and that also looked very nice.

Any others about?

Try Gmund cars in North Yorks, they have a mk2 clubsport in red, was looking at it yesterday. Bit pricey, but very nice, they have had it in a while and may well move on the price a bit......

Cobalt blue always looks good to me. Nice balance between lairy and "oh well, if only it were black/silver sir" at trade in.

the best colour for the GT3 has to be that burnt orange colour, cant remember the name of it? I think someone on here has or used to have one.

I think you are referring to Zanzibar Red - Not my favourite but each to their own.

If you really want a lairy colour - you could just get the car sprayed to suit yout tastes - sure, it costs a few £££'s but if colour is that important...

Given that an OPC recently sold a 2 owner 03/53 Car in Colbalt with 14K mile for £49,995 (which they would have brought in at £38 - £40k), this car still looks expensive with 29K on the clock. In addition, the current owner has not registered the car in his name which sounds suspicious to me. With low mileage cars now advertised at 45K ish privately and soft residuals, I would either wait for prices to bottom out a little or haggle hard providing the car in question passes a JZM/Parr inspection.
