What a difference...

Well, I finally got my car back from Weltmeister yesterday. I drove all the way back home last night and couldn't believe how different the GT3 felt.
I had a massive flat spot at about 5k before the work which made it feel like huge VTEC-like kick was a characteristic of the engine. I now realise that it should just rip round to 7400 with out any let up or huge step in power.
Smoothing that flat spot out, along with digging out a bucketload of extra torque and a wheelbarrow full of extra power has made a huge diffence. The car feels SO much faster (perhaps added to by having to drive around in a peugeot 307 for 5 weeks).
Bring on the track days -it's too quick for the road!
