Getting closer to finding a car , found two which, while i have not seen yet are the closest things i have found which i would consider parting with my hard earned for.
One is a Nov 02 car black / black aerokit x50 manual car, does not have pcm but i have asked them to retro fit it in their asking price 59k, the other is a 04 seal gray/ black manual car with 13.5 k all the extras pcm etc at 53k.
The x50 was the demo at mid sussex originaly anyone know it ?
Which would be the car of choice , i'm getting a bit green eye'd about the black car because of the aero kit and x 50 . my sensable side is saying the seal gray car.
I'm starting to get impatient , so need some steer before i do something stupid!

Black/black is - subjectively - best colour combo.
Aerokit - subjectively - doesn't look good (and is too low to get into my underground carpark).
X50 is nice to have but suffers more lag than standard TT.
X50 is well over-priced and 04 car looks good value... personally I'd go with the latter (though not as keen on Seal as Black).
yup i have priced one , a tubi , is there a system of choice on the tt i.e. one thats sounds nice , gives power gains , and no drone .
How about Miltek, europipe etc.
Going on even further ! i drove a turbo s yesterday and that felt quite a bit firmer , not nearly as firm as my old csl, but it felt more to my liking than the stock tt's i have driven , is it possable to fit the s suspension to the normal TT.
What' the score with remaps , is there such a thing as a frendly opc?

Forgot to add both are at opc's.
Really? An '04 plate low <20k mile TT in Seal grey doesn't sound very OPC to me (+ it's not on the Porsche Approved Used Car Locator).
If it's OPC then it will also include the warranty at that price - it's an awesome deal and I'd bite their hand off if I was you.

Not from an OPC it isnt. I'm paying £50k for this one www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=365697&f=48&h=0 from an indy. I know for a fact it wouldn't be on an OPC forecourt for that money.
X50 with aerokit is the one to go for. The standard car is a relatively common sight. Personal choice and all, but I wouldn't have settled for a standard car. Special obviously , but not quite special enough. Also X50 may hold its value better, (not sure), either way, bonus if it does but kind of so what if it doesn't. I just wanted to have the most powerful (production), turbo when I bought mine. Good luck.
Keith, have you seen this one?

doesn't say if it's slushbox or not, but it looks a good fit

Are you saying that it's not 3k too expensive , or that you don't believe its available at an opc at 63k?

weird, I seem to have deleted my original response somehow. Keith, I got confused with your post - i thought you meant 63k miles. Yes I agree £63k is too much money by at least 3k. Have a look at the link I added in my other post.
