Looking for inspiration

Guys,

having sold the jag have been considering a few things. Criteria are 4 seats, no matter how small, character, slight retro appeal, roof off would be nice.

I've been looking at 930 turbos but just not sure I will get the benefit of the extra power, particularly as I have the RS6 and always had a nostalgic feel for 3.2 carreras.

Love the coupe but roof off is so nice, however, not a huge fan of the cab.

So, against popularity I am seriously considering a targa SSE.

what I am interested in is, what do you think a black or silver SSE would look like without the rear spoiler (yep, aware of aerodynamic issues).

Also, can anyone think of any other things to do to one (i dont mean huge wheels or anything), carrera script etc?

by the way, anyone have a pic of a despoilered widebody targa ?

Drive a widebody targa first Craig to see what you think......If you like the old look, how about a decent Chesil 356 speedster replica....some have excellent build quality and 2+2 seats.....running costs are peanuts.

SSE without a spoiler would probably look good, after all the 964 celebration looks lovely as awidebody without a fixed spoiler.

Targa widebody though? not my choice, bt beauty is in the eye of the beholder

i think i want something quicker than a speedster though, sorry to be a bore.

i'd imagine the SSE is a little heavier than the standard car until rolling?

i almost want something a litte harder to drive in a weird way.
